We are currently recruiting for an intermediate-level landscape architect to undertake an ongoing contract role for our client, the Planning and Design unit of Brisbane City Council. This is an award-winning business unit within Australia's largest local government authority. It designs and delivers a range of civil, community and environmental projects, with a talented multidisciplinary team of technical and management staff.
As the successful candidate, you will work closely with senior and principals within the team to contribute technical expertise, documentation and project management inputs to an ongoing program of open space, civil and related landscape works.
You will have involvement both in delivering internal outputs and also in tendering and managing external works, including time and cost management according to contemporary project management principles. You will be willing to share your skills and knowledge and contribute positively within a multi-disciplinary team, with a focus on documenting projects using AutoCAD and Adobe suite. High-level written and verbal communication and client and stakeholder management skills are also critical.
