The Role
Due to internal promotions and growth, we are looking for a team player and proactive Logistics Pallet Administrator who is looking for a career with potential growth and autonomy
Reporting to the Transport Manager QLD, you will play a critical role in managing pallet operations across the state. The role is essential to ensuring raw materials are available through safe, efficient, and cost-effective logistics practices, supporting the broader supply chain and operational performance.
You are a seasoned professional with proven experience in pallet movement tracking, inventory control, ordering, de-hires, and cost management.

A typical day would look like, but not be limited to
* Conduct daily compliance checks and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Accurately enter all pallet movements, including route tracking
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and trading partners
* Retrieve Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation for pallet-related queries
* Investigate and resolve pallet discrepancies to improve accuracy and reduce costs
* Update, maintain production count records and lead and participate in monthly pallet stocktakes
* Coordinate delivery and de-hire of pallets with equipment suppliers
* Collaborate with management and pallet management partners to identify operational gaps and implement process improvements
* Provide accurate data and insights for end-of-month reporting
* Attend relevant meetings and contribute to discussions
* Review, approve, and code invoices for the Accounts Payable team
* Support transport operations as required
About you:
* Experience with pallet management software (e.g., CHEP, Loscam systems) and proficiency in Excel and data entry systems
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data and reporting
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across all levels of an organisation
* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
* Understanding of warehouse operations and materials handling equipment and experience in managing pallet accounts and reconciliation processes
* Familiarity with inventory control and logistics coordination
* Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in pallet movements
* Have an appropriate MR/HR vehicle licence, or the ability to obtain
