The Project & Roster
Located in central QLD within the Bowen Basin this large open cut coal mine site offers:
* Excellent training and development, including OEM training
* Lifestyle friendly 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off (Wednesday-Tuesday)
* FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville & transport to site is provided
* Full camp set up with ensuite rooms and recreational facilities including a gym
* Site located 20 minutes bus ride from the site
The Duties
Everyday will be different on site, this can be working in the workshop, out in the field or both
* Working in a well-connected and experienced crew
* Attending breakdowns, repairs, PM and general maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics, problem solving and more
* Machinery will include working on an extensive range of open cut CAT earthmoving equipment

Your Skills & Experience
Your minimum of 1+ years post trade experience working on civil earthmoving plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site. You will also have the following
* Trade qualifications in a heavy diesel discipline
* CAT earthmoving equipment knowledge
* A strong desire to forward your skills in the mining industry
* An excellent attitude towards work and safety values
* Pasion for mechanics and forwarding your skills
* A team player and able to work autonomously
* Reliable and dedicated to the position
