Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital - Mental Health Intensive Care Unit

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be a part of a multidisciplinary team committed to recovery-oriented practice, innovation and continuous improvement - making a real difference in the lives of consumers, their families/ carers and the broader community.

* Drive clinical excellence in a dynamic multidisciplinary hospital team.
* You will be providing psychological support services in a recovery-oriented, trauma informed setting that are guided by evidence based practices and collaboration.
* You will take a senior clinical role in the management of complex cases and maintain a clinical caseload which will involve direct clinical work with adults with complex mental health disorders and risk factors.
* Your clinical expertise and strategic vision will directly shape the delivery of holistic, person-centred care for individuals and with complex mental health and physical health needs, along with their families and carers.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
* Current full registration with AHPRA and Masters or Doctorate level post‐graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or Child and Adolescent Mental Health. The postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years full time duration (or part‐time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components. Current NSW Drivers License.
* Demonstrated experience in the assessment, management and support of adult mental health consumers with high level acuity and complexity.
* Demonstrated clinical leadership capacity and clinical supervision skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and refine strategic relationships within multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in project work or service development activities, that involve planning, developing, implementing, reviewing and evaluation of new initiatives within a health service context.
