• Collaborate with nurses, OTs, carers, families, and GPs to support post-hospital recovery, chronic condition management, and active ageing.
• Promote independence and safety in collaboration with individuals and families.
Community focus:
• Provide services in the clinic, at home, or in residential aged care settings, and play a critical role in the design of future Harbison programs and services.
Quality & improvement: Evaluate outcomes, lead small improvement projects, and share expertise through education sessions.
What You'll Bring:
• Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
• Experience working with older adults, frailty, or complex physical health needs, including dementia and Parkinson's disease
• Expertise in falls risk assessment, mobility aids, pain management, and safe manual handling
• A warm, respectful, and person-centred approach to care
• Ability to adapt physical interventions for cognitive, emotional, and sensory needs
• Strong documentation and teamwork skills
Why Join Us:
• Purpose & impact: Help older people stay independent and thrive in their own communities. Work in a purpose-driven organisation where your skills make a visible difference
• Salary packaging: Salary packaging to boost your take-home income. Up to $15,900 tax-free plus $2,650 entertainment benefits.
• Professional growth: In-house and online training, clear career pathways.
• Supportive culture: Inclusive, values-driven team committed to dignity, diversity, and wellbeing. Collaborate with a dedicated team in a supportive, community-focused environment.
• Flexibility and security: Part-time or full-time hours, and a private practice role, with the security of a salaried position. Flexibility to provide services across settings, including clinic, group, and home.
