Job Description
* Lead complex transport ops with high DG exposure
* Build strong Dangerous Goods capability in a fast paced site
Manage site transport operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics processes.
Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and operational guidelines.
Lead and mentor the site team to achieve operational excellence.
Monitor and optimise resource allocation and performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Oversee inventory management and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Site Operations Manager should have:
* Proven experience in transport management and site transport operations or a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
* Significant experience transporting dangerous goods and hazardous materials
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent understanding of operational processes and compliance requirements.
* Ability to analyse data and implement effective solutions.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* A proactive and results-driven approach to challenges.
