Responsibilities
* Operating and maintaining Council plant and equipment, with a focus on tractors and mowers.
* Gardening and landscaping duties such as planting, pruning, mowing, and tree maintenance.
* Maintaining streetscapes and roadsides through weeding, irrigation, and pest control.
* Contributing to safety management, site security, and environmental rehabilitation projects.
Essential Requirements
* Class C Driver's Licence (MR Licence preferred).
* General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
* Proven experience in a similar role with hands-on skills in gardening, maintenance, or landscaping and tractor operations.
* Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring safety and compliance.
* Strong team player who can also work independently.
* Qualifications in Horticulture and/or Sports Turf Management are highly desirable.
In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, the successful applicant is required to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B and will be asked to provide evidence of this.
