DM3 Logistics is a proudly WA owned and operated fuel transport company. We believe our people are the heart and soul of our company. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Fleet Controller to join our team based in Kalgoorlie.
While this role is advertised in Kalgoorlie, we are also open to this position being FIFO ex Perth (8 days on 6 days off).
Overview
The Fleet Controller's key role focus is to manage vehicle loads, schedule drivers, and ensure the efficient operation of the fleet. This role involves coordinating with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The Fleet Controller will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling vehicle loads and load plans within safety tolerances.
- Schedule drivers' runs accurately.
- Consulting with drivers throughout the day to ensure they are progressing well, meeting delivery schedule and staying within fatigue limits.
- Consulting with customers regarding deliveries, planning and access conditions.
- Highlight inconsistencies in operational data.
- Reporting of operational information to relevant teams.
- Monitoring of all vehicles throughout daily operation.
- Recording of demurrage data.

- Detailed knowledge of load configurations, weights, allocation, etc.

- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Well-developed computer skills and adaptability to new systems
Desirable but Not Essential
- MTDATA experience
Experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience
- Working knowledge of WA Fatigue regulations
- Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility duties
- Working knowledge Heavy Vehicle National Law
