I'm working closely with a premier national law firm to recruit an Associate and a Senior Associate for its growing Workplace Relations & Safety team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work directly with two highly regarded partners who lead a sophisticated practice spanning employment law, industrial relations, workplace investigations, WHS and complex advisory work.
About the Partners
Partner 1 – Employment, Industrial Relations & Workplace Strategy
This partner is recognised for their deep expertise across the full spectrum of employment and industrial relations law. Their practice includes:
* Complex employment disputes and litigation
* Enterprise bargaining and industrial strategy
* Executive employment, restraints and remuneration issues
* Workplace investigations and disciplinary matters
* Advisory work for major corporate, government and institutional clients
They are known for their commercial, pragmatic approach and for being a supportive mentor who invests heavily in developing their team.
Partner 2 – Workplace Health & Safety, Investigations & Compliance
This partner is a standout in the WHS and regulatory space, acting for clients across industries including construction, healthcare, manufacturing, education and government. Their practice covers:
* WHS incident response and regulatory investigations
* Prosecutions and enforcement actions
* Safety systems, compliance and risk management
* Coronial inquests and inquiries
* Training, audits and proactive safety advisory work
They are collaborative, approachable and highly engaged with their team, offering hands‐on guidance and opportunities to step into meaningful client work early.
The Opportunity
You'll work across a diverse and high‐quality mix of matters, including:
* Employment and industrial relations disputes
* WHS investigations and regulatory actions

* Litigation across state and federal jurisdictions

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking lawyers with:
* 2–5 PAE for the Associate role
* 5–8 PAE for the Senior Associate role
* Experience in employment law, industrial relations, WHS or regulatory investigations
* Strong drafting, advisory and communication skills
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset
* The ability to manage competing priorities and work closely with clients
