Job Overview
The role of Manager Rehabilitation and Reintegration involves providing leadership and oversight to the rehabilitation and reintegration teams within a correctional facility. This includes managing complex human resources, developing and implementing strategies for sentence management and intervention outcomes, and undertaking research into contemporary criminogenic training and reintegration programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and broad oversight to the rehabilitation and reintegration teams

* Provide high-level professional advice to senior clinicians on the operation of their areas and the management of more junior staff
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants will require a degree of at least 3 years duration in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling, or equivalent as provided by a recognised university. Additionally, applicants should have significant postgraduate work experience in a relevant field and be registered or able to be registered as a psychologist in Tasmania.
