The primary role of the Operations Enablement Specialist or Product Enablement Specialist is to review high-level product designs, assess feasibility of proposed solutions and ensure Product Development Teams receive the necessary support to carry out their activities so new products can be launched in the market.
This role is a key interface into Product Development taking on product requirements, customer needs, vendor, and 3rd party capabilities to deliver end to end operability, documentation and process flows aligned with the service designed principles as defined by ITIL.
**Specific Duties**:
- Active participant of a core squad in a Component Team on an Agile Release Train
- Maintain and provide guidance on Operations Entry and Ready for Sale/Service criteria to ensure a smooth start of the enablement phase when integrating a new product into a production environment.
- Conduct a skills and capabilities review to ensure product readiness and collaborate with Delivery business leads for product launches.
- Conduct Operational Readiness reviews for products that are about to launch, gathering feedback from parties involved, closing out gaps, and obtaining approval from Delivery Management and key business stakeholders for launch or Ready for Service (RFS) for a product.
- Share product go-live announcements/conduct briefings and provide relevant information to Delivery leads and key stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports on the product pipeline for upcoming launches.
- Utilise tools like Jira, Jira Align and Confluence to ensure work is tracked and recorded effectively.
- Actively participate in and contribute to Agile Team Ceremonies/meetings, such as Daily Stand ups, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, Team Retrospectives, PI Planning and so on.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Experience in Telco Product Development teams to review product deliverables such as E2E process flows, process documents, knowledge artefacts, and support models.
- Experienced in Solution Design around Product Delivery across multiple squads/teams.
- Strong technical breadth and previous experience in Telco/ICT industry
- Sound understanding of the client's go to market requirements as well as knowledge of the Delivery organisation.
- Able to follow ITIL design principles.
- Experience working in an Agile and SAFe environment.
