Studio Lead – Reformer Pilates Permanent Part-Time or Casual | Equity Pathway | Profit Share
We love this role. It's rare, intentional and built for the right person.
This is a studio leadership opportunity for an exceptional reformer Pilates professional who wants more than just teaching hours, someone ready to help build, grow and ultimately own a piece of something special.
We're a high-performing, values-led Pilates studio with a proven track record, a loyal client base, and clear plans for growth (including a second studio within the next 6–9 months). All we're missing now is the right person to step into a newly created Studio Lead role and grow with us.
Why this role is different:
We believe great studios are built on mutual respect, shared accountability and real buy-in. This role has been designed as a genuine win/win.
You'll be offered:
* Permanent part-time or casual employment – starting at 20 hours per week @ $65/hr + super
* Clear pathway to 30 hours per week as the studio scales
* Profit share paid annually - Based on studio performance (not individual commissions)
* Equity pathway for the right person in the short–medium term
* Generous professional development budget, with increased investment as KPIs are exceeded
* Optional salary packaging (tax-effective benefits)
* Opportunity to launch and take ownership of the next studio location
* A seat at the table, Studio Lead input into strategy, growth and decision-making
This is a leadership role with commercial upside, not just responsibility.
What success looks like:
Our north star is simple: exceptional classes, thriving clients, and consistently full reformers.
Studio performance is measured by average attendance per class, and when the studio performs above benchmark, you share in the upside. This isn't theoretical, it's already been done.
Who this role is for You'll be a great fit if you:
* Have excellent technical reformer Pilates skills and a genuine commitment to best practice
* Bring energy, warmth and leadership presence into every class
* Have a proven ability to build rapport, retain clients and create community
* Care about standards, consistency and the bigger picture
* Are commercially aware and excited by the idea of shared success
* Are looking for buy-in, ownership and long-term opportunity, not just more classes
Who this role is not for:
If you're only looking for casual teaching hours or prefer to stay purely hands-on with no leadership responsibility, this role won't be the right fit, and that's okay.
Experience required:
* 3-5+ years' experience teaching Reformer Pilates in a highly regarded studio environment
* Comprehensive Reformer Pilates certification (recognised provider)
* Proven ability to teach mixed-ability group classes with strong technical cueing
* Demonstrated client retention and consistently well-attended classes
* Experience supporting studio standards, mentoring instructors or contributing to programming (formal or informal)
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practice
How to apply: We're intentionally selective.
Please submit:
1. Your CV, and
2. A short introductory cover letter, or video, including answering one question: Why are you looking for a role with leadership, accountability and an equity pathway, and why now?
Generic applications won't be considered. We're looking for someone who truly sees themselves in this story.
If you're ready to step into a role where your impact is recognised, rewarded and shared, we'd love to hear from you.
