The Lecturer – Construction
Responsible for delivering carpentry training in accordance with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards, VET Quality Framework, and competency standards of the Construction Training Package.
About the Position
The primary role involves contributing to VET teaching and assessment programs in classrooms, workshops, and workplaces. You will facilitate competency-based training through various modes including face-to-face, mixed-mode, workplace-based, external, and online delivery, while supporting industry training needs.
About You
Trade Qualification in Carpentry and post-trade industry experience
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or successor) or willingness to obtain it
Experience in training within workplaces or educational settings
Skills in developing training tools to meet specific needs
High-level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including culturally sensitive communication
Ability to work independently and in a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software

Remuneration
Level A, salary range $74,157 - $111,253, with a total package of $86,763 - $130,166 including 17% superannuation.
