Medical Receptionist / Administration Officer

Private Specialist Medical Practice seeking a Medical Receptionist/Administration Officer within our growing reception team.

We are looking to hire an Administration Officer with recent experience in the Medical industry and outstanding customer service skills. We are looking for someone who is proactive, personable and enthusiastic about the role. We are a busy clinic and the job role is multi layered with a wide range of administration/accounting and secretarial tasks and requirements. This position also has the opportunity for further growth and training with progression to a permanent full time position.


Skills & Experience

* Experience in a similar role within the Healthcare industry
* Ability to use computer systems – competence required in Word and Excel.
* Specialist Medical Software knowledge an advantage
* Experience with Medicare and DVA
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Delivery of excellent client service
* Able to multi task within all areas of administration within a fast paced clinic
* Managing appointment books and collaborating with third parties while ensuring high quality written communications in a timely manner
* Maintain accurate financial records and patient accounts
* Recent Medical Reception experience is preferred but not necessary.

Casual role and remuneration based on experience with a view to possible Full Time Position.
