About theRole:
TheStudent Pathways and Careers Division provides a focus onsupporting our secondary schools to provide a consistent approachto engage, retain and transition young people to employment,vocational learning and higher education.
TheProject Manager will lead, plan and implement project plans,strategies and processes within the context of establishedcorporate goals whilst adhering to the appropriatedepartment’s project management methodology to significantlysupport Student Pathways and Careers outcomes. This role will beinvolved in the project management of 5 new Technical Collegesacross South Australia. The technical colleges will supportstudents in years 10 to 12 to compete their SACE while undertakingvocational education and training (VET) in state-of-the-artspecialist facilities.
Desired skillsand qualifications:
1. Significant experience in project management
2. Significant experience in providing strategic and operational advice
3. Proven high-level written and verbal communication skills
4. Proven government knowledge and experience, in particular the Department for Education (desired)
SpecialConditions:
Pleasenote that department employees working in high-risk environmentsare required to maintain up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19,with a TGA Approved Vaccine. Vaccination status must be disclosedand provided for sighting on request.
Thesuccessful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC(Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care)Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online(Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated everythree years.

Remuneration:
ASO7:$106,512 - $115,137
