Ready to lead, inspire, and make your mark on Australia's favourite consumer brands?
A globally recognised consumer products company is looking for a strategic and energetic Head of Sales – Australia to take the reins of its national sales function from its Melbourne-based head office. With a portfolio of household-name brands spanning personal care, home appliances, pet care, and hardware, this is your chance to drive growth and shape the future across a dynamic mix of retail, mass merchant, pharmacy, specialty, E-Commerce and alternative channels.
Reporting directly to the Head of APAC, you will own the Australian sales strategy, lead a high-performing team of five, and play a pivotal role in driving commercial initiatives, strengthening customer partnerships, and unlocking new market opportunities. You will manage key national accounts, champion new product launches, and make decisions on pricing, promotions, and trade investments that will directly influence the growth trajectory of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role where your strategic insights and FMCG expertise will translate into tangible results, across multiple channels, while collaborating with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of national sales leadership within FMCG or consumer goods, managing major retail accounts and multi-channel strategies. You will be commercially savvy, highly collaborative, and skilled at motivating and developing high-performing teams. A hands-on approach with the ability to influence both operationally and strategically is essential. A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing is required, with postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA highly regarded.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly created leadership role where your impact will be immediate and highly visible. If you are ready to drive growth, innovation and category leadership this role is for you.
