Contract Administrator Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team.
* Main Responsibilities:
o Manage the full contract lifecycle, from award to final close-out.
o Prepare, review and process payment claims and variations for clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
o Oversee the full payment lifecycle, including high-value and complex claims, ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks.
o Develop and maintain claim templates, FAQs, and training documentation for consistent commercial execution.
o Lead training and onboarding for new contract team members.
o Review and verify claim accuracy, supporting documentation and contract alignment.
o Manage end-to-end PO lifecycle, including forecasting, accruals, reconciliations and reporting dashboards.
o Track commercial KPIs like DSO, aging claims, variation closure and margin impact.
o Chair internal stakeholder meetings and drive commercial visibility and accountability across projects.
o Lead variation and change management processes.
o Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal and Project teams.
o Own contract registers, amendment tracking, and ensure governance and compliance across all documentation.
o Drive continuous improvement across the contract admin function.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Commercial skills:
o Strong understanding of contracts, payments and legislative frameworks.
o Ability to manage complex claims and negotiate settlements.
o Experience with financial systems and software.
