We are seeking a reliable and practical Casual Handyperson to join our team for an immediate start.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day upkeep of the Hotel, ensuring facilities are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard for guests and staff. This role suits a hands-on individual who enjoys variety and takes pride in maintaining quality environments.
Experience Best Suited to This Role
This position is ideal for a practical and adaptable handyperson with experience in general maintenance, particularly within hospitality, accommodation, or facilities environments.
You will bring experience in:
· General property and building maintenance
· Basic carpentry, patching, painting, and finishing works
· Minor plumbing repairs and fixture maintenance
· Preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
· Safe use of hand and power tools
· Manual handling and physically active work
Highly regarded experience includes:
· Previous work in hotels, resorts, or accommodation settings
· Supporting trades and external contractors
· Strong understanding of WHS and safe work practices
· Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
