In this pivotal role, you'll be the key connection between Coles DC operations and our workforce, ensuring smooth recruitment, engagement, and performance delivery across one of Australia's key supply chain hubs.
Rotating roster including weekends — flexibility and availability across all shifts is essential.
About The Role
As the onsite recruitment and workforce lead, you'll oversee the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to attendance, performance, and retention. You'll partner closely with Coles DC stakeholders and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, meet operational goals, and maintain a motivated, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to align workforce supply with Coles DC operational needs.
* Manage daily workforce activities, including rosters, attendance, timekeeping, and shift coverage.
* Monitor and report on key performance metrics, driving continuous improvement where needed.
* Build and nurture an engaged onsite culture through proactive communication and collaboration.
* Serve as the primary liaison between Coles DC stakeholders and internal support teams.
* Maintain accurate workforce data and insights on performance, retention, and attendance.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in onsite workforce or account management, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.
* Strong background in recruitment, scheduling, and performance management.
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive, hands‐on approach with the confidence to lead in a fast‐paced, high‐volume environment.
* Working knowledge of WHS, HR compliance, and rostering systems.
