Quality Manager

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 per annum + Superannuation

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee quality systems across our warehouse, procurement, and distribution operations.
This role is critical in ensuring that all products, processes, and supply chain activities meet regulatory standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and systems in line with organisational objectives
* Ensure all products (cleaning, packaging, and household goods) meet Australian quality, safety, and compliance standards
* Monitor and audit warehouse operations, supplier quality, and distribution processes to maintain consistency and efficiency
* Establish and manage quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and documentation
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and product complaints
* Analyse quality data and prepare reports for senior management, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction
* Ensure compliance with WHS, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
* Train and supervise staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
* Manage internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Skills & Experience Required
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification or at least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance role
* Strong knowledge of quality systems, compliance standards, and audit processes
* Experience in inventory, logistics, or product-based environments is highly desirable
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
