Job Description
Robert Bosch (Australia) is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Student Test Engineer to join our Vehicle Motion department on a full-time basis for 12 months commencing May 2026.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of test software development, test automation, and hardware debugging. You'll work on cutting‐edge projects, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:
* Supporting the software testing activities for customer projects, including but not limited to debugging test systems and test environment, supporting the creation of test cases from requirements, documenting and managing all test results and store in the official project test repository, etc.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and debug hardware issues.
* Support the creation of tools and automated scripts to facilitate customer project software and system testing.
* Supporting analysis of customer specifications and developing relevant validation tests.
* Assisting software and test engineers with Anti‐Lock Braking Systems and Electronic Stability Program software releases.

Qualifications
To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:
* Be currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 2 years towards a Mechatronics Undergraduate degree
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, along with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
* Demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, Perl.
* Demonstrate knowledge of hardware debugging techniques and methodologies.
* Display excellent problem-solving skills and have a willingness to learn.
* Demonstrate knowledge of software quality standards and software testing procedures.
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
* Have a strong interest in innovation and open to opportunities to combine your studies with on‐the‐job learning.
