We are seeking a talented Trumpet Tutor for Term 3 from 21 July until 18 September 2026 to join our passionate brass team. As an accomplished trumpet performer, you will join a team that values collaboration and growth.
You may be contributing to the wider Brass program, including participation in the Ensemble Program, concerts, etc.
Teaching Schedule
* Monday (3.5 hours): Morning at Wheelers Hill – 135 minutes of private students; Afternoon at Caulfield – 75 minutes of private students
* Tuesday (5 hours): Full Day at Wheelers Hill – 180 minutes of Year 5 Program + 120 minutes of private teaching; Wheelers Hill – 165 minutes of Year 7 Program
* Wednesday (2.75 hours): Wheelers Hill – 165 minutes of Year 7 Program
* Thursday (2 hours): Caulfield – 120 minutes of private teaching
* Friday (4 hours): Caulfield – 240 minutes of Year 7 Program
The program days are set but there would be some flexibility with consolidating the private student teaching days depending on room availability.

Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience tutoring trumpet within a school music program
* Capacity to engage and inspire secondary‐aged students
* Willingness to contribute to the Brass program, including ensemble involvement
* Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check
