Buller Sports, the premier rental and retail operator in the Mt Buller and Mansfield region, is gearing up for an exciting **** winter season.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and help deliver an exceptional mountain experience for our guests.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager, leading the team, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Positions Available
Mansfield
Mt Buller
On-mountain positions include shared staff accommodation.
Off-mountain employees receive competitive pay and access to staff transport options such as the staff bus and car passes.
Some valley staff may also have the opportunity to stay on-mountain during rostered days off.

Your Responsibilities
Assisting with day-to-day store operations
Supporting sales, rental, and staff development activities
Providing superior customer experiences for all guests
Assisting guests with the safe and correct setup of rental equipment
Educating guests on the care and use of equipment
Selling and promoting a range of mountain products
Supporting visual merchandising, promotions, and store presentation
Identifying and responding to guest needs in a professional manner
Ensuring compliance with company, OHS, and environmental policies
Assisting with stock and equipment condition management
Representing Buller Sports and the Mt Buller experience in a positive and professional manner
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead and support frontline staff during shifts
Help maintain a positive and professional team culture
Support staff training and development
Provide coaching and feedback
Assist with managing team performance and resolving issues
Ensure grooming and presentation standards are upheld
What You Bring
The motivation and confidence to support and lead people
Experience in rental, retail, hospitality, or guest service
Patience and a strong customer service focus
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Experience with POS systems
The ability to multitask and work under pressure
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
High standards of personal presentation
Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and peak-season shifts
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in rentals or retail
Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisor or team leader role
Relevant equipment certifications, if required
