About the Role
TAMS is seeking an experienced Electrical Leader and commercially driven Operations Manager to lead and grow our Western Australian operations.
This senior leadership role is responsible for driving profitable growth, delivering exceptional safety and quality outcomes, and building a high‑performing, engaged team. The role will shape the future of the business while maintaining strong margins and long‑term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead WA operations to meet or exceed financial targets, including revenue, margin and cost control.
* Grow and retain a strong client base through strategic business development and relationship management.
* Ensure all works are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards, targeting zero LTIs.
* Build, mentor and lead a high‑performance team aligned to company values and goals.
* Drive continuous improvement through innovation, process optimisation and cost efficiencies.
* Work closely with senior leaders, finance and national operations to ensure alignment and execution.
Person Specifications
* WA Electrical licence.
* Drivers licence.
* Proven experience in a leadership role within electrical maintenance operations.
* Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects up to $1m, and some experience in electrical services and maintenance.
* Strong financial and commercial capability (P&L, margins, cost control).
* Demonstrated success in growing and retaining clients.
* A genuine commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
* Strong people leadership, coaching and communication skills.
* A continuous improvement and innovation mindset.
