Your role
This programme covers financial modeling, credit skills, CIB products, and solutions, plus understanding product sets like FX, DCM, and Barclaycard. Your responsibilities encompass assisting with relationship loans, cash management RFPs, and trade finance facilities, amongst others.
Purpose of the role
To participate in the day-to-day activities of the international corporate banking division providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.
Accountabilities:
* Execution of small research projects, research to support strategic decision making, preparation of presentations and reports to communicate research findings, collaboration with senior management to implement research findings for international corporate banking, interacting with global clients, and supporting in deals.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
* Participation in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
* Identification of opportunities, development of business cases, and management of the deployment and launch of new products and services for international corporate banking.
* Management of the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support decision-making for international corporate banking.

About you
To be considered for this Internship, you must:
* Pursuing an undergraduate degree with anticipated completion between December 2024 to June 2025.
* Interested in Finance and Business with a GPA of 3.2 or above.
* Proactive and is good communicator.
* Value resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit, all of which might be showcased through your involvement in extracurricular activities.
