**The role**
We are looking for an experienced legal secretary or paralegal to work in a Paralegal role supporting the Commercial Government team.
The role is fast paced and will see you working with a variety of Australian Government clients on major projects, general procurements, contracting and commercial matters. You will be supporting the team with a variety of legal and administrative tasks for some of the most complex projects and transactions for the country's largest and most interesting Australian Government clients.
**Duties**
- Providing project and administrative support to a Commonwealth Government department
- Legal research
- Drafting and amending legal documents
- Answering client inquiries
- Maintaining files
- Time sheet entry and client billing
**About you**
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience working in a legal secretary or paralegal position.
***You will also have strong technical skills, mature approach with your communication skills, the ability to use your initiative and a high attention to detail.
We would love to hear from people studying law and currently working in government, who are able to provide 6+ months of ongoing work, a minimum of 3 days a week.
**Security clearance is required for this position.**
