The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of high-calibre clients. You'll take ownership of compliance, advisory, and management reporting while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with directors and managers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns and BAS/IAS for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
* Preparation of management reports and assistance with business advisory engagements
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members
* Provide business advisory, tax planning, and structuring services
* Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value
About You
To succeed in this role you will have:
* Minimum 3 years' public practice experience
* CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and Australian tax
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and lead team members
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Proactive and growth-oriented; you see opportunities and act on them
* Genuine interest in business and understanding what makes it succeed
* Curiosity about how AI can help you execute your work
