We are currently seeking a full‐time Roster Coordinator to join our dedicated team.
As our Roster Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective scheduling of our workforce, supporting both staff and residents. You will work closely with the Residential Care Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times, in line with care needs, budgets, and compliance requirements.
Duties
* Develop, manage, and publish staff rosters in accordance with operational needs.
* Coordinate and manage shift changes, replacements, and unplanned absences.
* Ensure staffing levels align with resident care needs, industrial awards, and legislative requirements.
* Liaise with staff to confirm availability, leave requests, and roster queries.
* Communicate clearly and promptly with management regarding roster challenges or gaps.
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date records of rosters and staff allocations.
* Contribute to accreditation standards by supporting continuous improvement in workforce planning.
* Ensure all regulatory compliance HR documentation (e.g., registration certificates, police clearances, training records) is current, complete, and securely maintained.
* Attend regular meetings with facility management to provide reports on staffing and rostering.
* Collaborate with the administration team to support HR and personnel processes where required.
Qualifications & Skills
* Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Exceptional organisational and problem‐solving skills.
* Ability to work in a quick‐paced and dynamic environment.
* Demonstrated experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination (aged care or health sector experience highly regarded).
* Minimum 1–2 years of rostering or scheduling experience.
* A team player with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Availability to work Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:00pm.
