The Role
The Senior React Developer role will provide technical expertise in building a business critical application with (React) web development digital capability. The role will provide technical oversight and a senior development/UX capability to support the React development on top of Investments Dataverse (AWS Lakehouse) and across the various investment systems.
What we need:
* Proven expertise in complex programming, debugging, data analysis, and resolving issues within open-source applications
* Strong experience designing and architecting secure web applications, with a clear understanding of modern web security threats and mitigation strategies
* Highly analytical, with a research-driven approach to problem solving and strong time and attention management skills
* Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, exercising sound judgement and rapid issue analysis
* Proven ability to effectively plan and prioritise work to meet changing demands
* Experience integrating with REST APIs and backend services
Your Profile
* Proven experience developing modern React components
* Strong UX design skills with a focus on intuitive, user-centred interfaces
* Advanced proficiency across a broad tech stack, including,, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React Native and Python
* Solid experience working with modern integration patterns such as GraphQL
Desirable:
* Knowledge of investment instruments (Fixed interest, debt/loans, derivatives, equities, infrastructure, property, OTCs)
* Experience with using AI and LLMs for digital journey
* Deep experience with React framework
