We currently have an opportunity for a Construction Labourer to join our Operations and Maintenance team.
Key responsibilities as a Construction Labourer…
In the role of Construction Labourer, you'll assist with the full range of civil construction and maintenance activities of Council across the municipality, working in both a safe and efficient manner.

* Permanent full-time role, nine-day working fortnight
* Commencing annual salary from $57,976 to $63,919
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
* Annual performance-based progression opportunity – up to $70,471
* Plus 12% superannuation

What you'll need to be successful in the role...
It's essential that you have the following:
* Class C drivers licence
* WHS Construction Induction White Card
* A minimum of one year recent civil labouring experience
* A minimum of two years' concrete formwork and finishing experience
* General literacy and numeracy skills.
Although not required, it would be beneficial to have any of the following:
* MR Drivers Licence
* RMS Traffic Control Yellow and Blue ticket
* Level 1 Chainsaw Operator's Ticket
* Pipe/Culvert Installation Experience.
Pre-Employment Checks
Your employment will be subject to a National Criminal Record Check and Pre-employment Medical to determine your suitability for employment.
All employees and other workers must uphold and promote safety and wellbeing for children and young people.
Applicants who progress to the next stage of recruitment will be required to complete a practical interview as well as a sit-down interview.
A merit list may be created for any similar positions that arise in the next six months.
