Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Control Centre Operator to join our team, based in Burton, South Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique Control Centre environment supporting the safe and effective Operation and Maintenance of a fleet of water treatment assets.
Duties:
* Apply knowledge of Industrial process control & equipment in a Control Centre setting.
* Monitor and control critical infrastructure water treatment assets from our Burton based Control Centre.
* Provide fault finding services to ensure plant operability and water quality KPIs.
* Collaborate with Service Technicians, Senior Control Centre Operators, Engineers and Client Control Centres.
* Respond to alarms and manage outcomes with event reports and logs.
* Work with the Control Centre Team to improve overall service delivery and provide 24/7 coverage.
* Assist the Control Centre Team with information accuracy and updating processes.
Requirements:
* Relevant Trade or Engineering qualification.
* Familiarity with SCADA systems and other monitoring technologies.
* Familiarity with Control Centre operations, procedures and policies.
* Moderate to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office suite.
* Previous experience in remote plant operation within the water treatment, industrial or process industries.
* Australian work rights.
* Experience with 12-hour shift work and night shifts.
* General automation awareness and experience.
* Exposure to Operations and Maintenance activities.
