We are seeking a Senior Government Communications Advisor to join our dynamic team in Dubai. As a Senior Government Communications Advisor, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic communication plans for our government clients. You will collaborate with a talented team of communication experts to shape public perception, manage crises, and provide counsel to senior government officials. Responsibilities :
* Strategic Counsel: Provide high-level strategic communications advice to government clients, helping them achieve their communication objectives and navigate complex issues.
* Message Development: Craft clear and compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring consistency and alignment with government priorities.
* Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and manage crisis situations effectively.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, and community organizations, to build partnerships and support government initiatives.
* Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans, including rapid response strategies, to protect the reputation of government clients during challenging situations.
* Public Affairs Campaigns: Design and execute comprehensive public affairs campaigns to promote government policies and initiatives, utilizing a variety of communication channels.
* Policy Analysis: Stay informed about government policies, regulations, and trends to provide informed guidance to clients and adapt communication strategies accordingly.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team of communication professionals, including writers, designers, and digital specialists, to deliver integrated communication solutions.
* Measurement and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the impact of communication efforts, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
* Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, political science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in government communications, public affairs, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of government processes
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies.
* Experience managing crises and providing counsel to senior government officials.
* Proficiency in media relations and crisis communication.
* Strategic thinking and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
