The Opportunity
We are seeking an Exercise Scientist to join our team.
This role involves working closely with our physiotherapists to deliver individualised exercise programs and supervise clients through their recovery and strengthening journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1:1 and small group exercise sessions
* Conduct strength and movement assessments
* Implement and progress individualised exercise programs
* Support physiotherapy-led rehabilitation plans
* Educate clients on strength training, injury prevention, and recovery
* Monitor client progress and goal attainment
* Maintain accurate client records
* Contribute to a positive, professional clinic culture
About You
You are:
* Passionate about strength-based rehabilitation
* Confident supervising clients on the training floor
* Professional, personable, and client-focused
* Motivated to work in a collaborative private practice environment
* Committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
Essential Requirements
* Strong communication and coaching skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sport Science, or allied health discipline
* Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise prescription
* First Aid & CPR certification
* Working with Children Check
* National Police Check
* Valid working rights in Australia
Desirable (but not essential)
* Private practice or rehabilitation experience
* ASCA Level 1 Certificate
* Experience in strength and conditioning environments
* Experience working with injury recovery clients
