Burly Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Landscape Estimator to join our dynamic team on the Gold Coast, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial landscaping projects, ensuring Burly Holdings remains a leader in the industry.
With offices now open on the Gold Coast and Caboolture, you'll be tasked with completing detailed take-offs, budget sheets, estimates and tenders for projects between the Sunshine Coast and Ballina.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial landscaping projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
* Liaise with clients to understand their project requirements and specifications.
* Conduct site inspections to assess project scope and identify any potential challenges.
* Collaborate with the design and project management teams to optimise project costs and timelines.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
* Ensure all estimates are compliant with relevant building codes and standards.
* Provide support and guidance to the sales team during the bidding process.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial landscaping estimating.
* Strong understanding of landscaping materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
* Proficient in using estimating software and spreadsheet applications.
* Proficient using OST software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscape design, or a related field.
