Pathology Collection Assistant -Phlebotomy Mentor
We\'re looking for a casual Phlebotomy Mentor to join our Perth team.
A day in the life
Leveraging your skills and experience, you\'ll be responsible for assisting our Trainer Assessor to equip the next generation of phlebotomists with hands-on, practical skills in pathology collection. Reporting to the Training Manager, you\'ll be a crucial part of a small, close-knit team in our Perth training centre, located in Osborne Park. The role also involves administrative and clerical tasks to support LTT, including activities in the office and collection centers as directed, such as supporting the pathology trainer with student classroom bleeds and mentoring students in the workplace as phlebotomist.
The role is full time, preferably 8.00am – 4.00pm but can be flexible.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Trainer Assessor to equip the next generation of phlebotomists with hands-on, practical pathology collection skills.
* Support classroom and workplace-based student activities, including bleeds under supervision.
* Perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support LTT.
* Contribute to a small, close-knit training team in Perth (Osborne Park).
Must-haves
* 3+ years experience in pathology collection
* HLT37215 Certificate III in Pathology Collection or equivalent
* Valid driver\'s license and own car
* Working with children check and current Police clearance
* A National Police Check is required
* Must be an Australian Resident or have the right to work in Australia
* Strong administration skills
