About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Superintendent Production to lead the Load & Haul team at Daunia Mine.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering the mine plan by managing overburden and coal movement using our autonomous CAT truck fleet.
Supported by a back-to-back Superintendent, you will focus on optimising safety, productivity, cost performance, and team culture.
This role calls for a proactive leader who can drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration across departments, and lead innovation in an autonomous mining environment.

This is a site-based position working a 7on/7off Tuesday to Monday roster.
What You'll Do
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Supervisors, OCEs, Coordinators, and Operators to deliver operational excellence in an autonomous mining environment.
Execute the mine plan to achieve production targets, ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, and business objectives.
Deliver results through effective planning and delivery of annual budgets, weekly schedules, and improvement initiatives that drive safe, sustainable performance.
Develop and mentor frontline leaders, fostering capability growth, accountability, and a culture of continuous learning.
Champion innovation and safety, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities that enhance productivity, efficiency, and team culture.
What You'll Bring
An inspirational leader with prior experience in a similar production role, preferably in an open-cut coal mining environment.
Hold RIIRIS301 / RIIWHS301 / RIICOM301 (formerly S1, S2, S3) & RIIRIS402 (formerly G2) qualifications.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for driving operational improvements.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
