About the role
The Patient Services Assistant plays a vital role in supporting patient care across all acute wards. This position involves working closely with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes by providing assistance with patient welfare, comfort, hygiene, and transport.
Main Responsibilities:
* Transport patients, wards, and departments as per relevant EBA and hospital policies to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery.
* Assist nursing staff with patient restraint once trained to a competent level.
* Provide and monitor quality meal services to guarantee accurate meal supplements are delivered.
