About the role
This is a full-time Legal Secretary position at David Nelmes' law firm in Yamba, New South Wales. In this role, you will be providing critical administrative and organisational support to the legal team, ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
What you'll be doing
* Performing a range of general secretarial duties such as typing, filing, answering phones and scheduling appointments
* Preparing correspondence, documents and other materials as required
* Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
* Liaising with clients and external parties as needed
* Assisting with billing and other financial tasks
* Undertaking other ad-hoc administrative duties as required
What we\'re looking for
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or similar administrative role within a legal environment
* Strong typing and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Proficient in the use of office software such as Microsoft Office
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
