Role Description
SCAD is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Tendering Quantity Surveyor Team Leader for a full-time on-site role based in The Head, QLD. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate tendering processes, prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects meet financial and operational objectives. Additional responsibilities include mentoring team members, evaluating subcontractor performances, and working closely with the project management team to ensure profitable and successful project delivery.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in tendering, cost estimation, and quantity surveying
* Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams
* Expertise in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control
* Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and compliance standards
* Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems for quantity surveying and project management
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Educational background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
