Responsibilities
* Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.
* Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements, including reviewing and attending weekly toolbox talks and daily prestart meetings.
* Maintain effective cost control and ensure the efficient running of projects.
* Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors.
* Report on project progress and conduct weekly meetings.
* Provide advice on technical and engineering issues.
* Liaise closely with clients to ensure projects adhere to schedules.
* Participate in tendering and estimation processes.
* Create and modify ITPs and SWMS.
* Raise RFIs and track responses.
* Assist on-site with management of systems and processes for safe and effective project delivery.
* Adapt to a live site environment, resolve conflicts, and liaise with stakeholders.
* Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to meet program targets.
* May work across multiple projects, including regional NSW, based on division requirements.
Your Experience
* Experience managing construction projects in a contractor environment.
* Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities.
* High regard for safety standards.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Solid programming and planning skills.
* Experience with facade remediation projects is desirable.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Understanding of building codes, legislations, and Australian Standards.
* Construction induction white card.
* Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
* Silica Awareness Certificate.
* Working at Heights Certificate.
* Police clearance, as projects are based on Defence sites.
* Driver's license.
