The Role
Aroona by Ardency is a premium retirement resort located in Yowie Bay that offers a unique retirement experience which combines the very best in independent living with the premium amenities you would expect from a boutique hotel.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Concierge to join our dynamic team on a Casual basis. This Concierge is the go-to person for our residents, who is a vital part in the smooth operation of the resort. The successful candidate, will therefore be required to assist in various areas of the resort, having more of a hands-on approach. You will undertake concierge duties and responsibilities including responding to resident enquiries and undertake public area cleaning. The Concierge team is operating in morning, afternoon and overnight shifts. These shifts rotate over a 24/7 roster.
Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will be tasked undertaking a variety of concierge duties and responsibilities including:
* Providing a high level of customer service to the residents and guests of Aroona Ardency
* Responding to resident and guest enquiries and requests
* Assist with day-to-day operational activities through different IT platforms
* Delivery of resident packages and room service meal
* Driving Resort Vehicle during some shifts (Class C)
* Set up and pack down of resident activities
* Assisting with production of weekly newsletter and monthly journals
* Contractor management including inductions
* Assisting the restaurant team when required
* Ensuring that a premium level of customer service is provided to our residents in every interaction.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate
About You
You will ideally have a background in hospitality or customer service, have experience working in a reception, concierge or administration role. can and a mature approach to your work. The successful candidate will also require the following:
* Proficient skills in Microsoft Office & Outlook
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Be extremely well presented and reliable
* Have a passionate and customer- focused approach with a can-do and proactive attitude
* Hold a valid drivers' licence
* To have a current First Aid and CPR certificates, or be willing to obtain
* Have RSA and Barista skills, ideal but not essential

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check & will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October.
