About the Role
Be part of a high‐impact program that strengthens the service system and keeps children safe while supporting families through their most vulnerable moments. This Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Response role is Full Time, Maximum Term, with SCHADS Level 5 + super, covering parental leave until 21.10.2026.
The programme is an innovative, evidence‐based initiative working intensively with families to reduce the risk of children entering – or returning to – out‐of‐home care. We deliver fast, coordinated, and wraparound support that strengthens families and transforms futures.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong, culturally safe, strengths‐based relationships with children and families
* Deliver intensive assessments, safety planning, and tailored parenting strategies
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies to create a connected web of support
* Champion resilience, empowerment, and self‐determination for every family you work with
Clients You May Work With
* Families with unborn child protection reports
* Children aged 0–5
* Adolescents aged 10–14 with multiple child protection reports or orders
These families may be experiencing complex challenges such as early child protection involvement, disability‐related care needs, mental health concerns, substance use, family violence, or their own history of being in care.

Qualifications & Experience
* Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, community services work or equivalent
* Minimum of two years' experience in case management
