Trainer & Assessor – High Risk Work, Warehousing, Civil and Mining
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and professional Trainer & Assessor, or an experienced operator interested in becoming a Trainer & Assessor, to deliver training in High Risk Work, Warehousing, Civil and Mining. Training is delivered from our Townsville office and onsite as required across Queensland.
About Us
Professional Training Solutions is a leading Queensland Registered Training Organisation (RTO: 46134). We deliver training across the Mining, Retail, Warehousing and Civil Construction sectors throughout Queensland, specialising in machinery training, industry short courses, and High Risk Work licences.
About You
Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, TAE40110 or equivalent) and have demonstrated experience and knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
If you do not currently meet these requirements but are interested in becoming a trainer, please apply. A Trainee Trainer pathway is available, including completion of the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Hold a current open Queensland driver licence.
Hold current vocational competencies and industry experience in some or all of the following (not all required):
* Backhoe loader
* Excavator
* Wheeled front end loader
* Tracked front end loader
* Grader
* Scraper
* Water cart
* Telescopic materials handler
* Confined spaces
* Work safely at heights
* Load and unload plant
* Articulated haul truck
* Skid steer
* Roller
* Tractor
* Integrated tool carrier
* Service truck
* Gas test atmosphere
* Breathing apparatus
* LVR (Low Voltage Rescue)
* CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Hold a current High Risk Work Licence or relevant industry experience for (not all required):
* Order picker (LO)
* Elevated Work Platform (over 11m) (WP)
Ability to travel within Queensland for onsite training and assessment, including occasional overnight stays.

Training provided (including Trainee Trainer pathway if applicable).
Uniforms and PPE supplied.
