Responsibilities
* Load and unload trucks, and assist with loading and unloading operations, including operating any loading-related equipment such as forklifts.
* Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
* Secure cargo for transport using straps, gates or covers.
* Pick, pack and dispatch orders to a high standard and pick rate.
* Assist with all stock control processes, including receiving inward goods, cycle counts and stocktakes.
* Work with the team to achieve stock integrity through stock replenishment, date‐expiry checks and regular stocktakes.
* Perform general warehouse duties as directed.
* Manual labour and repetitive lifting throughout your shift.
Qualifications
* HC or HR licence.
* Minimum two years' experience driving a Heavy Rigid Vehicle.
* Commitment to working safely and adhering to health & safety policies.
* Experience or exposure to chain of responsibility.
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
* Physically fit, capable of lifting stock weighing up to 20kg.
* Commitment to providing great customer service.
* Availability to work flexible hours.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to be flexible to meet changing work conditions.
* Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
