Monadelphous is seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to support a major Turnaround on Curtis Island, Gladstone, commencing May 2026.
This is a key leadership role where you will oversee mechanical shutdown activities, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe, efficient execution throughout the Turnaround.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Lead and supervise mechanical trades, apprentices, and trade assistants.
* Oversee mechanical maintenance, repairs, and shutdown work scopes.
* Allocate and coordinate daily work tasks during shutdown execution.
* Collaborate closely with client representatives to plan work, report progress, and resolve issues.
* Provide hands-on, safety focused leadership across all work fronts.
What you will bring:
* Minimum 4 years' supervisory experience in the Oil & Gas sector (highly desirable).
* Australian Mechanical trade qualification.
* Proven experience supervising mechanical teams in shutdown or industrial environments.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and shutdown processes.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and manage resources effectively.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to deliver under tight shutdown deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
