Murray Consulting Solutions (MCS) is a 100 percent Australian-owned consulting firm that has been providing experienced, security-cleared professionals to Defence and Australian Government clients for 15 years in Newcastle, Melbourne, and Canberra. We are seeking Level 3 and Level 4 (8+ yrs) or SFIA levels 4 to 6 consultants, across the following disciplines to join our Canberra-based team :
* Digital and ICT
* Data and Analytics
* Cyber Security
* Engineering and Logistics
* Commercial and Procurement
* Project and Program Management
These opportunities support ongoing and upcoming Defence and Government programs in Canberra, working within integrated delivery teams.
What we are looking for
You will be an experienced consultant who understands Defence or Government environments and can operate effectively within structured, regulated programs.
Essential requirements
* Experience working within Defence and or Australian Government environments
* Hold or ability to hold and maintain an AGSVA security clearance
* Be an Australian citizen (mandatory)
* Experience operating at L3 or L4 equivalent or SFIA level 4, 5 or 6
* Strong stakeholder engagement, written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work at client site full-time or an agreed hybrid mode.
Desirable requirements
* Digital, Data & Cyber
o Strong understanding of Defence and/or Government ICT infrastructure, networks, and systems administration.
o Experience as a system architect or business analyst delivering outcomes in Defence and/or Government ICT integration projects.
* Project Management, Commercial, Engineering
o Experience in Defence acquisition projects
o Experience with ASDEFCON suite of templates
o Knowledge of the One Defence Capability System (ODCS)
o Capability definition and requirements determination
