About the role
Bread In Common is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented team in our vibrant restaurant located in Fremantle, WA. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for the smooth running of a specific section, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes that showcase our commitment to local, seasonal produce.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to our exacting standards
* Manage your section efficiently, delegating tasks and providing guidance to junior team members
* Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers
* Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies for your section
* Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a reputable commercial kitchen
* Strong technical skills and a passion for seasonal, produce-driven cuisine
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
* A team player with strong communication and leadership skills
* Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments
* Food safety certification and a current police check
