A small family owned engineering firm located in Western Sydney (Eastern Creek) is currently seeking a Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.
You MUST have PR or Australian Citizenship
This role requires you to be onsite 5 days a week.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with keen attention-to-detail, who is excited about developing their technical skills and keen to stay annd grow with this company over time.
Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and responding to IT level 1 requests / issues.
* Escalation support requests / issues as required.
* Communicating with users regarding ticket status, follow-ups and updates.
* Working on daily assignments, tickets and emails as assigned.
* Guiding users through troubleshooting steps.
* Assisting with updating technical knowledge base and documentation.
* Assisting with scripted and unscripted testing scenarios and documenting results.
* Provisioning of IT assets (configuration and installation).
* Maintaining standby IT equipment including inventory tasks.
* Assisting with hardware, software and licensing audits.
* Running, reviewing and updating reports.
* IT project participation as required.
Key Skills / Experience:
*
o 3 years Helpdesk Support experience in small to medium sized companies
* Hands-on experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting of Windows Operating Systems.
* Working knowledge of computer peripherals (e.g. printers, UPSs etc)
* Experience with networking and Active Directory preferred.
* Ability to perform troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
* Good problem-solving and multitasking skills.
* Customer-focussed attitude.
* Windows certification would be an advantage.
