A contract role for an Infrastructure Specialist at a Government Department based in Adelaide.

**Your new role**
The Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for managing a range of expert project and infrastructure planning functions that ensures the overall and stable operation of the organisation's IT infrastructure. This includes defining, establishing, developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimising key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, security and telecommunications systems. The position also oversees, schedules and directs activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Mandatory skills:
- Manage various System Administrative (Windows), Networks, Communications and liaison
- Understanding of ICT Security including Firewall requests and changes
Necessary Skills:
- Communicate and collaborate with a range of business and technical stakeholders involved in the planning, analysis, development, testing, release, use and quality review of ICT Infrastructure enhancements.
- Provide authoritative, advanced ICTS advice and support services to users, work colleagues and service partners, pro-actively contributing to knowledge sharing, mentoring and skills transfer.
- Optional Skills: Knowledge of UNIX desirable
Necessary Clearances - Working with children check, National Police Check, Vaccination status - 3 doses.
