Glass Polisher – Straight Line Polishing Machine
Superkote Glass is a leading Australian-owned glass processing company, recognised for delivering high-quality architectural glass products. We're currently seeking a Glass Polisher to operate our straight line polishing machine, with training available for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, takes pride in quality finishes, and wants to build skills within the glass processing industry.
About the Role
You will be responsible for polishing glass edges using a straight line polishing machine, ensuring all finished products meet Superkote Glass's quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating a straight line glass polishing machine
* Polishing glass edges to required quality standards
* Measuring and checking finished glass for accuracy
* Identifying and reporting defects or issues
* Performing basic machine cleaning and maintenance
* Scanning panels and following production processes
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Working closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For
* Experience with straight line polishing machines preferred but not essential
* Willingness to learn and follow set procedures
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Good time management and reliability
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to workplace health and safety
Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.
